A short, to the point description on how God led me to this ministry:
In 2001 I was working at The Battle Creek Lifestyle Health Center in Battle Creek as the recruiter. One day the pastor walked in and handed me Dr. Kellogg’s book “Light Therapeutics” as a gift. I immediately began to scan its contents. I became so inspired with what I found that could be used in His service, that I stood up, with my right hand raised to the ceiling, and said “Lord, can I be an expert on light?! And doors started opening.
Just for the asking, I received boxes and boxes of antique books on sunlight therapy, light therapy, and open-air therapy from the pioneers of the great health reform movement during the war on TB. AND two large trucks filled with Battle Creek Sanitarium antique equipment – especially light therapy equipment. I also was given two antique BC Sanitarium Incandescent Electric light Bath Cabinets which we used in service at our home. I was given access to many antique images related to the BC sanitarium and other non-Adventist pioneers who successfully used God’s healing agencies of nature on their very sick patients – especially sunlight and open air.
God gave me everything I needed to become an expert on the practical use of light therapy, sunlight and open air in healing - because I asked him to make me an expert to use it in His service. And it just grew from there. God is good!
